Global law firm Dentons has advised Rolmex S.A. in concluding a conditional agreement for the sale of the Indykpol Group – a leader in the Polish turkey meat market – to the LDC Group, one of the Europe’s major poultry producers.

The French LDC Group has been present in Polish market since 2000 when it acquired Drosed, a leading Polish poultry market player. The transaction with Rolmex will enable the buyer to further consolidate and expand its business, while contributing to Indykpol's plans of becoming a leader in the turkey industry in Europe. The deal is expected to be finalized in the first half of 2024 and is subject to the merger approval.

The Indykpol Group employs more than one thousand people, and its 2022 revenues exceeded PLN 1.3 billion. The company’s shares were listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange until June 2020.

Dentons’ team advising the client was led by partner Piotr Dulewicz, Head of the M&A practice in Poland, and partner Paweł Grabowski, supported by associates Beata Błaż and Marcin Urbański (all M&A). Partner Cezary Przygodzki, Head of the Tax practice in Poland, and senior associate Damian Bugaj advised on the tax aspects of the transaction.
