New Delhi, May 21, 2026:
Dentons Link Legal successfully represented its client, Tea Post Limited, in proceedings before the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), Principal Bench, New Delhi, securing important interim relief and deferment of operative directions arising from an impugned order of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad.
The appeal challenged the NCLT order dated April 28, 2026, which, inter alia, directed the credit and distribution of proceeds arising from the sale of shares associated with the Tea Post business.
After hearing submissions from both sides, the NCLAT, by its order dated May 21, 2026, granted interim protection to the appellants by extending the timeline for compliance with the impugned directions.
This interim relief provides significant protection to Tea Post Limited in relation to the underlying corporate transaction involving the transfer and management of the Tea Post brand and associated business interests.
Tea Post was represented by Petrushka Deas Dasgupta (Partner), Mridul Yadav (Principal Associate), Anand Singh Sengar (Senior Associate), Raghav Mittal (Senior Associate), and Jaya Singh (Associate).
