Dentons Link Legal has advised Mr. Karan Mahajan, Sharrk Limited and Hi-Tech Inks Private Limited (Hi - Tech Inks) in connection with the 100% acquisition of Hi-Tech Inks by Siegwerk Druckfarben AG & Co. KGaA and Siegwerk India Private Limited.
The cross-border transaction, involving Germany, the UAE and India, was implemented through two separate share purchase agreements to facilitate the transfer of the Sellers' entire shareholding in Hi-Tech Inks to the Purchasers. The Firm acted as legal counsels for the Sellers, advising on the structuring and documentation, through to signing and closing. Dentons Link Legal also advised and assisted with procuring governmental and regulatory approvals and clearances, from the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and the relevant registration and stamp duty authorities in Gujarat.
