Dusseldorf, July 3, 2025 - Global law firm Dentons has advised UniCredit as documentation agent, bookrunner, mandated lead arranger, and underwriter on a US$1.1 billion borrowing base credit facility for Ameropa Trade Holding AG. Coöperatieve Rabobank and Raiffeisen Bank International were also involved, as was an international banking consortium. Ameropa will use the funds to refinance and consolidate its existing financing arrangements in Romania and Switzerland and to finance general trading activities of the Ameropa Group.

Following the initial closing of the US$800 million credit facility, the credit volume was increased to US$1.1 billion in the subsequent syndication phase with the participation of over 20 banks.

The agreement also includes an option to increase the facility to a total of US$1.35 billion.

Dentons advised UniCredit as documentation agent and Coöperatieve Rabobank as agent throughout the entire syndication and transfer phase.
