Global law firm Dentons has advised Qualitas Energy on the acquisition of DunoAir Windpark Panung GmbH, the German onshore wind development business of DunoAir. The transaction expands Qualitas Energy's wind farm development portfolio capacity in Germany by 1.4 GW to a total of 2.9 GW, a figure that is expected to increase to 6.2 GW within the next two years through its ambitious investment plan in the country. This transaction strengthens its position as a major player in the renewable energy sector in Germany.
Based in Trier, Germany, DunoAir Windkraft Planung GmbH focuses on the planning and construction of wind power plants in Germany, with a primary focus on the western part of the country. Its existing portfolio of wind power development projects has a capacity of 1.4 GW. The company will keep its organizational structure and will continue to operate under the same brand.
