December 9, 2020 - Dentons has advised Slovakia-based Sli.do, a technology company that provides a best-in-class audience interaction platform, on its sale to Silicon Valley tech giant Cisco Systems. As a result of the transaction, the Sli.do technology will be integrated into the Cisco Webex platform in order to enhance audience engagement across both in-person and virtual experiences.

Sli.do has over 7 million users monthly and provides its customers with an inclusive audience engagement platform that enables real-time feedback and insight before, during and after any meeting or event via dynamic polls, Q&A, quizzes, word clouds, surveys and more.

Partners Rob Irving (Budapest) and Juraj Gyárfáš (Bratislava) led the Dentons team supported by partner Michael R. Maryn (Washington, DC) and associate Sebastian Ishiguro (Budapest).

Dentons’ other notable technology deals this year included advising on the €1.32 billion sale of Idealista, the leading online real estate classifieds platform in Southern Europe, to EQT. In addition, BASEAK, the law firm, which collaborates with Dentons in Turkey, advised on the $1.8 billion sale of Turkish mobile gaming company Peak to Zynga.
