July 4, 2022 - Dentons advised US-based Scalefast, a key player in global e-commerce, on its sale to ESW, the global direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce leader.

The acquisition of Scalefast represents a strategic move for ESW that will strengthen its position in the fashion, beauty, personal care and luxury brands market by adding the entertainment, gaming and electronics sectors.

The provision of complementary solutions on Scalefast and ESW’s respective technology platforms is expected to drive accelerated growth in revenue and in product innovation across the newly created group’s integrated client base.

Following the usual regulatory approvals, the transaction closed at the end of June.

Dentons has been Scalefast’s advisor for the last 10 years. In these post-health crisis times, which have notably accelerated the digitization of companies, this transaction  illustrates Dentons' key presence in the field of global technology transactions.

David Masson, Scalefast's Chief Legal Officer, acted with the management team led by its CEO and founder, Nicolas Stehlé, alongside co-founders Olivier Schott (CMO) and Frédéric Bocquet (CTO).
