Wenger Vieli advised the shareholders of Starmind, a Swiss provider of AI-based knowledge solutions, on all Swiss legal and tax matters in connection with its sale to Capacity, a US-based enterprise AI company.

Founded in Zurich, Switzerland, Starmind has developed an AI platform that identifies expertise within organizations and connects employees with the right internal experts to solve complex questions. Capacity, headquartered in St. Louis, provides AI-powered support automation and knowledge management solutions that enable organizations to access and leverage documented information at scale.

The transaction brings together two highly complementary approaches to enterprise knowledge management. By combining Starmind’s expertise in accessing human knowledge with Capacity’s strength in structuring and delivering documented information, the combined business is well positioned to offer a more comprehensive and integrated knowledge solution.

The team was led by Beat Speck (Partner, Corporate/M&A) and included Dominik Rietiker (Senior Associate, Corporate/M&A), Bruno Mahler (Associate, M&A), Claudia Keller (Partner, IP/ICT), Jonas Bühlmann (Partner, Tax), Micha Schilling (Counsel, Financial Services), Giulia Meyer (Junior Lawyer), and Michelle Blattmann (Junior Lawyer).
