De Pardieu has advised Grape Hospitality, a leading integrated hotel owner, operator and investor, 70% owned by Eurazeo, on the sale of a portfolio of 22 hotels located in France to Swiss Life Asset Managers, a Swiss asset management company, and to B&B Hotels, a French hotel chain.

 

Swiss Life Asset Managers acquired the 22 companies owning the real estate assets and B&B Hotels acquired the 22 companies owning the business concerns.

 

This strategic transaction marks a significant milestone in Grape Hospitality’s development, enabling the Group to further focus on the upper midscale and upscale segments. This transaction aligns with the strategy defined by Eurazeo Real Estate team and Grape Hospitality management intended to transform the Group and develop its portfolio through operational and real estate repositioning, while also diversifying into innovative segments.

 

De Pardieu’s comprised Thomas Bréart de Boisanger (partner), Rémi Avon (associate) and Eloé Monnier (trainee lawyer) on the Corporate/M&A aspects, Alexandre Blestel (partner) and Benoît Ménez (counsel) on the tax aspects, Philippe Rozec (partner), Sandrine Azou (counsel) and Clodoald de Rincquesen (associate) on the labor law aspects and Emmanuel Fatôme (partner) and Angelica Dziedzic (associate) on the real estate aspects.
