De Pardieu has advised Aareal Bank AG, a German property specialist bank, on the financing of the acquisition by a pool of investors (Bain Capital / Columbia Threadneedle / QuinsPark) of the premises and business of the Pullman Montparnasse Hotel, an iconic establishment on Paris’ Left Bank, located near the Montparnasse train station in the heart of the Gaîté district.
Aareal Bank AG acted as arranger, lender and agent in the financing of this 34-storey hotel located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris. Offering 957 rooms, two restaurants, a panoramic sky bar and over 5.000 sq.m of dedicated meeting and event spaces, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse is one of the flagship hotels of the brand. The financing will support both the acquisition of the hotel and targeted capex initiatives. It follows a multi-year refurbishment program carried out between 2017 and 2021.
