LBKM partner Cristián Francos wraps up his role as co-chair of the International Bar Association's Business Crime Committee with one more conference in Santiago, Chile. Cristián will deliver the keynote speech along with conference co-chair Adriana de Buerba.
The conference will focus on topics including:
• corruption in sports;
• supply chain and criminal offences;
• economic crime laws and corporate criminal liability;
• lawyers – prosecuted for being lawyers;
• corporate investigations: new risks for outside counsel;
• prosecution of encrypted messaging service providers; and
• cooperation between criminal lawyers versus mutual legal assistance.
Cristián will continue to work with the International Bar Association's Business Crime Committee as a member of their advisory board.
