CRIDO Legal has assisted the Slovak company SAKER in establishing a joint venture with BTS Group companies (Slovak and Polish), negotiating and signing a shareholders' agreement and investment agreement, as well as a loan agreement. The project’s aim is to build an EV battery recycling plant in Poland.
This is one of many joint venture projects on which we are currently advising Polish and international clients. In the case of advising SAKER, the multi-phase and multi-threaded nature of the project required the involvement of legal and tax advisors from various CRIDO teams. The client is known for its long-standing investment in development, new tech and ecology. We are delighted that we were able to contribute to the launch of yet another environmentally friendly investment that will create new jobs in the Lower Silesia region. - comments Przemysław Furmaga, partner in the M&A PE/VC team at CRIDO Legal.
