Mexico City, October, 2021.- CDA Abogados, through their partners Luis Cervantes and Alejandro Díaz Steta, advised and represented Sergio 'Checo' Pérez, driver of the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 team, to won the lawsuit against MGI Asistencia Integral, Pemex's outsourcing company.

The judgment indicates that it condemns the defendant, MGI Asistencia Integral, to pay to 'Checo' Pérez the amount of USD 2.8 million dollars or its equivalent in national currency.

The case refers to the sponsorship contract that 'Checo' Pérez signed in October 2018 with MGI Asistencia Integral, a private company created by Pemex, in which he promised to sponsor him for one year. However, at the beginning of the administration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador the contract was canceled, which led to the lawsuit for contractual breach.

After two years of litigation and a few days before the Grand Prix of Mexico City, of Formula One, Sergio 'Checo' Pérez won the lawsuit.
