MIAMI, Fla. (Oct. 12, 2017) — Florida-based law firm Broad and Cassel LLP will host law firm leaders from across the world Oct. 18-21 in Miami for the Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) Annual General Meeting. Firm Partner Kathleen Deutsch serves as the first female chair of the international legal network.
Broad and Cassel has been a member of the organization since 2005, and Deutsch alongside Partner Patricia Lebow have been actively engaged over the years in a variety of capacities. LAW is a global association of nearly 100 independent law firms located in over 50 countries. With access to 4,000 lawyers worldwide, membership in LAW allows member firms to service the legal needs of clients that are expanding their operations and relationships into new domestic and foreign markets.
The Annual General Meeting includes three days of informative presentations from economists, industry leaders and LAW members on topics of interest to a global audience, including the future of law, digital security, and managing organizational change, among others.
