, the founding partner of Broad and Cassel’s West Palm Beach office, today announced plans to transition from her role as managing partner of the office.

Clifford Hertz,

co-chair of the firm’s Land Use and Environmental Law Department and a member of the Real Estate and Government Relations Practice Groups, has been selected by Broad and Cassel to move into this position.

A veteran real estate and land use attorney, Hertz has anchored the West Palm Beach office alongside Lebow for decades and has been at the forefront of some of the most highly significant real estate and land use and governmental matters in Palm Beach County and across the state.

Last year, he was named West Palm Beach “Lawyer of the Year” for Land Use and Zoning Law in The Best Lawyers in America® 2017. Only one attorney in each practice area in each region is named a “Lawyer of the Year.”

“The West Palm Beach office would not be of its current stature had it not been for Patricia’s leadership over the years,” said Hertz. “I’m thrilled to take on this new role and follow in the footsteps of such strong leadership and dedication to excellence in client service.”

Hertz is admitted to practice in Florida and New York as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree and went on to earn his juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law with honors.
