Hong Kong, 5 July 2018: Boase Cohen & Collins Senior Partner Colin Cohen has welcomed two more law firms to Ally Law as the global legal services organisation continues its expansion into new markets.
Brazilian firm Cascione Pulino Boulos & Santos and Hankyul Law Group in South Korea have been confirmed as the latest members, meaning five new firms have joined Ally Law so far this year. “We are delighted to welcome both firms to our organisation,” said Mr Cohen, Chairman of Ally Law’s Expansion Committee.
“We have been sourcing a suitable firm in Brazil for some time and are very pleased to confirm Cascione Pulino Boulos & Santos as our representative in what is an increasingly important jurisdiction. The firm attended the recent Ally Law AGM in London as an observer and its membership was processed soon after.
“South Korea has also been a priority and so we are happy to have concluded successful negotiations with Hankyul Law Group. I recently visited the firm as part of our recruitment process and believe it is an excellent addition to our ranks.”
Cascione, Pulino, Boulos & Santos Advogados has more than 55 lawyers and specialises in cross border M+A, banking, finance, international tax, agribusiness and renewable energy. Formed nine years ago, it is based in Sao Paulo with a second office in Rio de Janeiro.
Hankyul Law Group was formed in 1997 and is a full-service firm with 60-plus lawyers. Its core practice areas include corporate, finance, construction, real estate, intellectual property and information technology.
Boase Cohen & Collins is Hong Kong’s sole representative in Ally Law, which utilises close co-operation between members to help clients overcome their international legal and business challenges. The organisation comprises almost 70 firms in more than 40 jurisdictions.
