ECIJA continues its multidisciplinary growth strategy with the incorporation of Borja Díaz-Guerra as a new partner in its Madrid office, after working for firms such as Deloitte, Baker McKenzie or Benow Partners. With this move, ECIJA strengthens its Corporate and Private Equity area, disciplines in which the Firm has been working intensively in recent times, having positioned itself as one of the 10 most active law firms in transactions during 2020 according to the TTR ranking.
Borja Díaz-Guerra has more than 14 years of experience in corporate advisory services, with a particular focus on corporate transactions, investment and divestment processes, and corporate restructurings. In addition to being a lawyer in Spain, Díaz-Guerra qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2013 and is the Spanish representative of the European Lawyers Association. Díaz-Guerra has also been recognised by in its latest editions, highlighting his leadership in the corporate field.
After this incorporation, ECIJA's Corporate, M&A team will now have a total of 52 partners and more than 150 professionals globally. In addition, this latest incorporation adds to the 6 additions made since 2020 by ECIJA's Corporate team in Spain.
