Bomchil advised Empresa Distribuidora Sur Sociedad Anónima (Edesur), a company holding a concession for the public service of electricity distribution and commercialization in the southern area of the City of Buenos Aires and in 12 districts of the Province of Buenos Aires, while Martínez de Hoz & Rueda advised Banco Santander Argentina S.A. (“Santander Argentina”), in its capacity as arranger and bank, and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Argentina) S.A.U. (“ICBC Argentina”), in its capacity as arranger, bank and administrative agent, in connection with a syndicated loan granted to Edesur in the amount of ARS 115,616,670,000 (one hundred fifteen billion six hundred sixteen million six hundred seventy thousand Argentine pesos) (the “Loan”).

The Loan is secured by a pledge agreement over accounts and funds entered into between Edesur and the banks.

The proceeds of the Loan will be used by Edesur for investments in physical assets, capital goods, and working capital.

The transaction closed on June 23, 2025.
