Blumenthal Richter Sumet & Schuler (“BRS&S”) recently facilitated a discussion titled:“Strategic Options for Thai Enterprises in Global M&A”, an exclusive panel discussion bringing together senior executives, C-Suite leaders, and business owners from leading Thai companies. The event marked the firm’s first large-scale gathering at its new premises in One Bangkok, affirming BRS&S’s continued commitment to fostering high-level dialogue within the regional business community. We were extremely fortunate to have partnered with Tractus, a global business strategy consulting and operations management firm, renowned for facilitating business operations throughout Asia.

The dialogue featured distinguished speakers, including Dennis Meseroil, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Tractus; Gun Jirakietvadhana, Managing Director of Mass Worldwide Logistics; Thitipat Supattaranont, Founder of THANN Oryza Co., Ltd.; Sumet Mingmongkolmitr, BRS&S Senior Partner; and Promboon Sookatup, BRS&S Partner.

The panel discussion focused on the critical considerations Thai enterprises should assess at key inflection points in their growth trajectory. The session was designed for companies considering strategic partnerships, succession planning, and capital investment. Speakers shared insights on both inbound and outbound expansion and acquisitions. The discussion also addressed the increasing relevance of both inbound and outbound M&A as part of long-term growth strategies.

The speakers further engaged in an in-depth dialogue on structuring options for business owners, key considerations in decisions relating to expansion and capital raising, and the practical challenges of executing cross-border transactions. The discussion also explored how Thai enterprises can prepare themselves for business growth domestically and internationally. In addition, the speakers shared insights into the legal process relevant to M&A transactions, as well as legal and tax perspectives for cross-border transactions. The conversation highlighted the role BRS&S and Tractus in protecting the interests of Thai enterprises and enhancing smooth cultural alignment in foreign engagement.

This event affirms BRS&S’s role as a trusted advisor at the intersection connecting Thai and international markets, and our ongoing efforts to create meaningful platforms for knowledge exchange and collaboration among industry leaders.
