Bernitsas Law acted as Greek counsel to Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) in connection with the refinancing and financing of the HHG group of companies in Greece and Cyprus, through the issue of a common secured bond loan in the amount of up to €1bn by the group company Hellenic Healthcare Single Member Holding SA, with Eurobank SA as original bondholder and bondholder agent.
Hellenic Healthcare Single Member Holding SA is member of HHG, the largest private healthcare group in Greece, with a leading role in the development of medical and nursing care. HHG is active in Greece and Cyprus and owns 9 leading healthcare institutions, advanced diagnostic centers, home health services and innovative assisted reproduction units.
HHG utilizes the investment capital of CVC Capital Partners, which is one of the largest private equity investment funds worldwide, with a presence on three continents and 23 countries and significant expertise in the hospital sector, especially in southern European countries.
