Bernitsas Law advised the Astir Group on the issue of a €362m bond loan by Astir Palace Vouliagmenis for the refinancing of existing bank debt and financing of the development of the Astir marina located on the Athens Riviera.
Alpha Bank acted as arranger, bondholder agent and facility agent. The loan was secured over real estate assets, receivables, shares and corporate guarantee.
Astir Palace Vouliagmenis SA is a hospitality market leader with a history of over 50 years during which it became a world renowned luxury destination and currently operates one of the most iconic Four Seasons Hotels in the world and two of the top restaurants in Attica. Also, in 2022 Astir will inaugurate one of the best home port Marinas in the Mediterranean combining state of the art facilities and upper luxury.
