Bernitsas acted as Greek law counsel to the international and Greek managers in connection with the issuance and offering by Eurobank Ergasias Services and Holdings (Eurobank Holdings) of €600m Fixed Rate Reset Additional Tier 1 Perpetual Contingent Temporary Write-Down Notes (the Notes) to international and Greek institutional investors, as well as on the listing of the Notes on the Euro MTF Market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
The issuance attracted orders from high quality international investors and was oversubscribed by almost 4 times, having received orders from 138 investors.
The rationale for issuing the Notes is in line with Eurobank Holdings’ Group strategy to further optimize its capital structure and increase its resources for further strategic initiatives.
