Bernitsas acted as Greek law counsel to CrediaBank, in its capacity as bondholder agent, paying agent, arranger, original bondholder and issuing bank in connection with the refinancing of the acquisition of Euclid Portfolio by an Irish special purpose vehicle, by a common secured bond loan subscribed for in full by CrediaBank, accompanied by a credit facility for the issue of bank guarantees for the collection of auction proceeds. The Euclid Portfolio was originally acquired from National Bank of Greece as Symbol Portfolio.
CrediaBank is the 5th largest bank in Greece in terms of assets and was created through the merger of Attica Bank and the former Pancreta Bank.
