Beccar Varela announces the appointment of Jimena Vega Olmos as a new partner in the firm’s Energy department. With over 20 years of experience advising local and international clients on complex transactions and strategic matters related to energy, infrastructure, project finance, and investment arbitration, her arrival strengthens a key area of the firm’s practice. Jimena joins Ricardo Castañeda, Pedro Silvestri, and Carlos Cueva, partners of the firm´s Energy team, bringing her expertise, insight, and perspective.
Before joining Beccar Varela, Jimena was a partner at Martínez de Hoz & Rueda (2018–2025), a firm she joined following a distinguished career at Pérez Alati, Grondona, Benites & Arntsen (1998–2017). She earned her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (2002), holds a postgraduate degree in Economic Administrative Law (2007), and completed an executive program in Infrastructure in a Market Economy at Harvard University (2017). She currently serves on the board of the Pro Bono Commission of the City of Buenos Aires Bar Association.
