Barry is a recognised expert in contentious and non-contentious insolvency, restructuring and corporate recovery law. The appointment bolsters the Firm’s Insolvency & Restructuring offering and brings further breadth to its Litigation & Dispute Resolution services.
        
Beauchamps has been consistently growing over the past 24 months to support its expanding portfolio of client work. This announcement follows the addition of four new partners in construction, commercial property and energy & natural resources earlier this year (June 2016).

Barry is a Partner and head of Insolvency & Restructuring at Beauchamps. Barry acts for all stakeholders, including liquidators, receivers and examiners in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and debt restructuring cases. 
Barry was appointed by the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to be a member of the Company Law Review Group on behalf of The Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners and he chairs its corporate insolvency committee. He is a past Chairman of the Irish Society of Insolvency Practitioners, a member of council for INSOL Europe and a Fellow of INSOL International. Barry is listed as a leading insolvency & restructuring lawyer by top legal directories, including Chambers Europe and IFLR 1000.
Barry also advises on the resolution of regulatory and other corporate and commercial disputes.
