Alcogal advised BAC International Corporation on the acquisition of 99.569068% of Multi Financial Group, Inc., the holding company of Multibank, in one of the most significant financial sector transactions in Panama.
Acting as Panamanian legal counsel, Alcogal provided comprehensive support throughout the structuring, negotiation and closing of the transaction, including all corporate, banking and regulatory aspects. The transaction successfully obtained all required regulatory approvals.
The matter was led by partners Rafael Marquínez and Patricia Cordero, who coordinated a multidisciplinary team covering all aspects of the deal.
