Asters announces the integration of Inly, strengthening Asters’ leadership in merger control, enhancing its antitrust, trade, and regulatory practices, and reinforcing the firm’s capacity for Ukraine’s forthcoming FDI screening framework.
The combination expands both bench strength and tailored expertise, providing clients with the largest, fully integrated practice. Leveraging the core team’s long-standing history of working together, clients will benefit from immediate continuity and seamless integration of a recognised and well-established team, including:
- Oleksii Pustovit, who will lead the Competition & Antitrust practice, combines decades of experience at leading Ukrainian law firms with work at the Antitrust & Foreign Investment practice of an international law firm, advanced studies in antitrust and national security at a leading U.S. law school, and in-depth research on Ukrainian antitrust enforcement using unique comparative benchmarks. He has been actively involved in the development of Ukraine’s FDI policy framework and is a co-author of the forthcoming FDI bill.
- Dr Olesia Kryvetska, who brings extensive expertise in international trade and regulatory matters. Olesia combines experience as former WTO dispute settlement case handler and active non-staff adviser to the Committee on Economic Development of the Ukrainian Parliament. She combines deep practical expertise in trade and antitrust, with a strong policy-making focus, including as a co-author of Ukraine’s forthcoming FDI screening framework. Olesia is a member of the government-mandated External Relations Working Group on Ukraine’s EU accession and is appointed by Ukraine to the roster of arbitrators for disputes under the Ukraine – UK FTA.
- Tetiana Bebik, who specialises in cases at the intersection of law and economics, focuses on merger control, competition, and international trade law. She is widely trusted by international clients to handle sensitive, multi-party matters with precision and under tight regulatory timelines. Her experience in high‑profile anti-dumping and safeguard investigations further strengthens Asters' capabilities in trade defence and regulatory matters.
Asters’ Partner Igor Svechkar comments: “This integration is about delivering more value to our clients. By bringing together the teams with a shared track record and complementary expertise, we ensure seamless support on the most complex merger control, antitrust, and regulatory matters, both in Ukraine and across borders.”
