Niagara Energy S.A.C. is a Peruvian company controlled by Actis, a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure that acquired (i) 92.3% of the shares of Enel Generación Perú S.A.A. and (ii) 100% of the shares of Compañía Energética Veracruz S.A.C. ("Target Companies").


This transaction was very complex and demanding due to the large amount of assets of the Target Companies in Peru. The acquisition of Enel Generación Perú S.A.A was completed through an ex-ante tender offer (Oferta Pública de Adquisición Previa – OPA Previa) in accordance with Peruvian regulation.
