Intellectual Property
The Intellectual Property team is mainly engaged in providing legal advice on registration of trademarks, patents and industrial designs across several sectors, advising on trademark infringements and litigation and advising on transactional IP matters, such as due diligence, preparation of licensing/assignment agreements and commercialization. The Department was involved in the first registration of 3D international trademarks in Sri Lanka.
