Ronald Mueller is a partner in Gibson Dunn’s Washington, D.C. office and a founding member of the firm’s Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance practice group. Ronald advises public companies and boards on a broad range of SEC disclosure and regulatory compliance matters, proxy and executive compensation issues, and corporate governance and shareholder engagement, including financial reporting, shareholder proposals and activism, sustainability, diversity, and climate-related governance and disclosures, and corporate crisis response.
Career
As a founding member of firm’s Securities Regulation and Corporate Governance practice, Mr. Mueller has been advising on corporate governance and SEC matters for over 35 years and helped develop many widely adopted governance and disclosure practices. Former legal counsel to SEC Commissioner Edward Fleischman.
