Career

Michael Scoville focuses on aerospace-sector disputes, including product liability claims. He graduated from Harvard Law School, clerked for Justice Kennedy on the U.S. Supreme Court, and served as a federal prosecutor before joining Perkins Coie. Michael’s experience includes successfully arguing for summary judgment on the basis of the government contractor defense with respect to claims involving a V-22 Osprey training accident; handling arbitration matters involving supply chain disputes; and representing Boeing in complex product liability litigation arising from aviation accidents including Asiana Flight 214 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight ET302.
