Maha M. Kabbash, a partner with the Firm, has been a key player in the Firm’s pharmaceutical drug, medical device, and tobacco litigation practice, and has represented major companies in both centralized litigations and individual lawsuits. She has extensive experience with defense of medical device manufacturers through every stage of litigation through trial, including in particular the regulatory and medical components of device litigation. She also played a central role in a five-month trial of a groundwater contamination case brought under CERCLA, in which Riker’s client prevailed at trial. For several years, Maha handled numerous consumer lawsuits in New Jersey on behalf of a leading computer manufacturer, achieving favorable settlements, dismissals and trial victories. Through Maha’s wide-ranging experience, she has developed expertise in federal and State court practice, on both the trial and appellate levels.
