Specialises in insolvency and restructuring litigation and frequently appears as lead counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Commercial List) and other courts across Canada in significant domestic and cross-border insolvency cases. He appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in a case involving pension and insolvency issues. Has acted for major debtor corporations such as Target Canada and Sears Canada, receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, monitors, secured creditors and purchasers of distressed assets. Is a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada.
