James Fleckner

Practice Areas

Jamie Fleckner is a partner at Goodwin, and is chair of its ERISA Litigation practice. Jamie represents providers and plan sponsors in class actions, appeals, regulatory investigations, bet-the-firm litigation as well as arbitrations regarding the discharge of ERISA duties. He is currently representing some of the country’s largest companies in ERISA litigation, and a wide range of other ERISA litigation challenging the discharge of fiduciary obligations.

Jamie regularly litigates class and derivative actions under ERISA, the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related federal and state laws. His practice also focuses on regulatory investigations and governmental proceedings, and has represented clients before the US Department of Labor, Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and state authorities.
