Diego Chighizola

Diego Chighizola joined Marval O'Farrell Mairal in 2001 and became a partner in 2012, specializes in corporate finance, complex M&A, agribusiness and real estate.

In recent years, he has been handling complex M&A transactions, including the investment by GE in YPF Energía Eléctrica; in real estate he advised on the investment by Goldman Sachs and Equity International in Pegasus Real Estate.

Career

Diego also worked as foreign associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, in New York, between 2004 and 2005.

Diego has been admitted to the New York State Bar Association and is a member of the Buenos Aires Bar Association.

Personal

He graduated as a lawyer at the Universidad Católica Argentina (2001, cum laude), holds a Masters in Law from Columbia University School of Law, New York (2004) and a Masters in Finance from Universidad del CEMA (2007). Since 2011, he teaches contracts and business law at the Universidad de San Andrés Law School.
