Firm Overview:

PHP Law LLP was established in 2019 to provide an outstanding legal service with a moral compass. We do things differently with integrity at the heart of everything we do. The firm is comprised of experienced lawyers and business professionals specialising predominately in providing legal, strategic and business support to state schools and FE colleges. We are based in the Southwest with a client base spread across the Country.

The thread that runs through all our services is our values. PHP Law LLP aim to support its clients in a way which allows them to concentrate on what matters to them and their colleagues. We understand that when clients instruct a lawyer to do something, it’s not the law they want, it’s the outcome! We pride ourselves on being a ‘one stop shop’ for all the legal needs of organisations providing state funded education to children and young people aged 2 to 18 in England.

Our firm is best known within the Education Sector for assisting clients on a range of matters including corporate and governance restructures, academy conversions and capital projects to name but a few. The operational arm of our Education Team also assists clients with a range of services including procurement support and assisting clients on all aspects of tendering, governance reviews, day to day contract management etc.

The firm has grown significantly over the last couple of years and continues to do so. Starting with just five clients, the firm now acts for over 40 education providers. These range in size from a single college trust with a turnover of £7 million to a 57 schools trust with an annual income of over £230 million.
