Members of the firm participated in the comprehensive rewrite of the Florida Corporations Act—a 600-page legislative update enacted in 2019—through their work with the Florida Bar Business Law Section. One attorney chaired the committee responsible for modernizing Chapter 48 of the Florida Statutes, which governs service of process, while another currently leads the committee reviewing and proposing amendments to Florida Statute § 542.335, which addresses restrictive covenants. Additionally, the firm contributes to procedural reform through representation on the committee revising Florida’s Rules of Civil Procedure.
