Posse Herrera Ruiz acted as Colombian legal advisor to Fundación Centro de Tratamiento e Investigación Sobre Cancer Luis Carlos Sarmiento Angulo (Fundación CTIC) in the development and support of all the activities regarding the authorization by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to CTIC as a special free trade zone dedicated to render health services, specifically regarding cancer treatment. Additionally, the firm is advising the legal team of this Foundation in tax and customs matters regarding the operations to be developed in the special free trade zone.
This project is the most important philanthropy initiative involving a health project in Colombia that includes research on cancer treatment. In both cases, the Foundation will use state of the art technology, infrastructure and human resources.
