BOYANOV & Co. currently works on the biggest deal in Bulgaria – the concession award procedure for Sofia Airport. The practice groups of Real estate, Corporate, Competition, Litigation, Banking and finance, and Intellectual property are involved in this sizeable project. The maximum estimated value of the concession is EUR 3.9 billion. This is the second attempt of the Bulgarian state to award the concession after the termination of the previous procedure in 2017. The deadline for the bid submission is 22 November 2018.
Sofia Airport is the largest airport located on the territory of Bulgaria and in 2017 it served circa 6.5 million passengers. By the end of 2018, the number of passengers served by the Airport is expected to reach 9 million.
