Following the latest developments in Ukraine and our in-depth review of the process, we have decided to allow law firms to send in their referees for the following practice areas that are due by May 28th:

  • Competition / Antitrust
  • Employment
  • Intellectual Property
  • Banking & Finance

Please check with your referees first before including them on the referee lists for this year. As previously, we will reach out to referees via email and offer the option of an interview or filling out a written survey. We are still closely monitoring the situation, and we will let you know should there be any change going forward.

Based on the work and the feedback that we received, we are also hoping to bring back numerical rankings in the above-mentioned practice areas. Please aim to send in your submission documents with up to 20 work highlights by the deadline. However, we have extended the deadline for referee lists for these four areas to be June 25th. You can send in up to 20 referees per law firm per practice area.

As last year, we do invite all law firms based in Ukraine to send in their submissions and referee lists. The researcher will be in touch prior to contacting referees to let you know that research is beginning.

The submissions for the following sections are also due by May 28th:

  • Restructuring & Insolvency
  • Tax

For the time being, please only send in one submission with up to 20 work highlights for these areas. We are currently not accepting referees in those two practice areas.

Do get in touch if you would like to provide feedback on the process. You can email Magdalena Parkitna at [email protected] .
