Marie Ito - Research Associate, focuses on the Japanese legal market
My name is Marie Ito and I am a senior member of the Chambers research team, located within the Asia-Pacific team and mainly focusing on researching the Japanese legal market. Having been raised in Japan I am a native Japanese speaker and have extensive experience engaging with the market in Japan, having previously worked in the finance and technology industries.
At Chambers, I frequently speak with various market participants, including lawyers and consumers of legal services, in Japanese, allowing me to get a deeper insight in the market and connect with a broader spectrum of participants. I'm proud to say that these language skills are a key driver behind our market-leading coverage of Japan.
