Continued growth of junior lawyers achieving a ranking in Chambers UK

The Chambers UK team investigate how the growth of the Chambers UK guide has resulted in the junior end of the market gaining ground in the legal rankings, with a 10% year-on-year increase in the number of Up-and-Coming rankings.

This success has also been enjoyed at the associate level in the legal rankings. The number of Star Associates and Associates to Watch included in the guide grew an impressive 24%.

Regional and practice area differences?

This episode also delves into the regional differences seen within the Chambers UK guide, highlighting those regions where new partners are making headway in the rankings. For instance, new partner rankings grew by over 5% in London, The South and Northern Ireland.

It also explores which practice areas boast larger numbers of junior lawyers in the rankings, including Insurance and Construction wherein Up-and-Coming lawyers represent 9% of those ranked.
