Family

For Chambers UK 2026 it will be possible to submit separately for International Abduction, Adoption and Surrogacy. This table was formerly known as Cross-Border Disputes and formed part of the Family/Children Law rankings in London. This year, however, it will be a standalone table and it will consider firms from all parts of the UK rather than just London. We have renamed the table to clarify the specific kinds of work we are expecting to see on submissions.

Court of Protection

Firms can now submit for either Property and Affairs or Health and Welfare, rather than providing one submission to cover both. Firms ranked or seeking a ranking in the Public Sector Clients sub-table should submit to Health and Welfare.

Travel

It is now possible to provide one submission for Travel: Regulatory and Commercial and another for Travel: International Personal Injury. We ask that you please do not include any personal injury work on a submission to the regulatory table, and vice versa. If you wish to be considered in both, you should make separate submissions.

Healthcare

Our Healthcare rankings are now split into two tables, one covering the private sector and another covering the public and third sectors. For UK 2026 you will be able to submit to either or both of the following: Healthcare: Private Sector or Healthcare: Public and Third Sector.

Crime

This year we are combining our North East and Yorkshire tables into one. If your firm is based in either of these regions you will now submit to the North East & Yorkshire region instead.
