Specialises exclusively in partnership and limited liability partnership law and provides solicitors and other professional and trading partnerships and LLPs with a full range of legal services, from the drafting of new agreements and the review of existing agreements to advice and representation in partnership disputes, arbitrations and mediations. Chambers’ aim, where possible, is to assist clients with the process of resolving disputes, without recourse to litigation and provide ongoing advice and support from the embryonic stages of a developing dispute, right through to the conclusion of any litigation or until a negotiated settlement is reached. Chambers also carries out a significant amount of drafting and advisory work relating to limited and corporate partnerships. Licensed and Public Access work is undertaken in appropriate cases.

Roderick I’Anson Banks is the editor of Lindley & Banks on Partnership, the authoritative guide to partnership law (20th ed. published November 2017, First Supplement published 2018, Second Supplement due late 2019), and the author of the Encyclopedia of Professional Partnerships. Simon Jelf is a contributor to the Encyclopedia of Professional Partnerships, and the editor of the Third Supplement to the 19th ed. of Lindley & Banks on Partnership (published December 2016).
