Xianlong Zhao

Zhao Xianlong focuses his practice on litigation and arbitration matters as well as non-contentious work in real estate, infrastructure, construction, securities, and corporate.

He helps clients navigate a full spectrum of real estate matters, including land use right transfer, project M&A, financing (in the form of trust, capital management, and private equity funds), cooperative development, property sale, lease and management, hotel management, investment and operation. He also has extensive experience in industrial property, urban development (old city reconstruction), urban complex development and operation, and foreign investment in domestic real estate.

Mr. Zhao assists owners and/or contractors in project construction, project management, bidding, design, supervision, construction, construction costing and consulting, completion and settlement, and secondary renovation. He counsels governments and high-tech enterprises on scheme design, government procurement, bidding and project management in new infrastructure projects such as smart city development and digital transformation.

In addition, Mr. Zhao also has a wealth of experience in resolving disputes involving corporate, financing and securities disputes. He represents clients in litigation/arbitration proceedings involving corporate control, trust/private equity and securities disputes.
