Bill Bowers focuses on tax planning for complex oil and gas transactions and business combinations through partnerships. He served as senior counsel in the Office of Tax Policy of the Treasury Department; responsibilities included administrative guidance and legislative initiatives for partnerships. He also is the Co-Author of Texas Limited Liability Companies, Form and Practice Manual, Data Trace Publishing Company and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Law at Georgetown University and The University of Texas.
