Thomas Schobel of Siemens AG
Thomas Schobel is General Counsel for Austria and the CEE at Siemens, leading a team of more than 60 lawyers and contract managers. He has vast experience both as in-house and external counsel, having worked at leading international firms such as Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Freshfields in Vienna, before transferring in-house to lead the legal department at Hypo Group Alpe Adria. During his time at the banking group, he acted on its restructuring following its nationalisation.
