Shouzhi Zhang

Mr. Zhang Shouzhi specializes in arbitration, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. His experience spans a broad range of commercial disputes including those in relation to trade, investment, finance, energy, infrastructure construction intellectual property and product liability.

Mr. Zhang commenced legal practice from 1988. He has since represented multi-national companies, major state-owned enterprises, state-owned banks and foreign banks in more than 150 litigations, out of which over 100 cases were foreign-related. He has also represented clients in more than 100 arbitrations under a variety of arbitration rules, including CIETAC, BAC, ICC, SCC, HKIAC, SIAC, FOSFA, SAL, GAFTA and ICA. The cases Mr. Zhang represented involved disputes relating to cross-border trade and investment, equity, energy, infrastructure finance, construction contracts, intellectual property, product liability, international commercial loans and foreign debt guarantees, negotiable instrument, letter of credit, bill of lading, as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in China.
