Sarah’s practice encompasses a wide range of fields including financial services, insider dealing, corporate fraud, sexual offences, police and regulatory proceedings and inquests. She brings her knowledge of the law in many fields to bear on complex cases and has a creative approach to problem solving. Sarah won the Responsible Leader Award at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2023.
She is particularly well known for her expertise in market abuse, financial services, and the full range of financial fraud, bribery and corruption. She is instructed by the FCA, the PRA and the SFO, and on behalf of individuals and corporates in disciplinary, civil and criminal proceedings including private prosecutions. A lot of her financial work involves international and cross-jurisdictional issues and Sarah is experienced at dealing with cases that involve concurrent international investigations and legal issues. Sarah is the author of the leading textbook in this field “Insider Dealing: Law and Practice” (2nd edition published by Oxford University Press (2020))
