Career

Renato has been working for almost 20 years in tax practice, with focus on domestic and international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and specialized consulting in the taxation of financial markets. He is Professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and Instituto Educacional BMF&BOVESPA of the following subject matters: taxation on financial markets, taxation of derivatives, taxation of fixed income and taxation of investment funds. He is Co-author of the book Manual de Tributação do Mercado Financeiro (“Guide to Financial Markets Taxation”).

Member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário (IBDT), Associação Brasileira de Direito Financeiro (ABDF) and International Fiscal Association (IFA).
